If you have read my bio page, you know that my major is Speech Pathology at Ball State University. Here, I will tell you a little about it and provide some interesting links. Ball State has a very reputable SLP program. We have our own clinic at which undergrad and grad clinicians provide speech, language, and hearing therepy to Muncie residents. Speech Pathology is a profession that is rapidly progressing, as it is only a few decades old. SLP's can work in schools, hospitals, clinics, or private practice. There is much research to be done and communities for whom to provide therepy, and not enough people to do it, so this profession has nearly 100% job placement. I enjoy it because it is an interesting combination of English, Science, and Psychology. Below are some links to find out more about this rewarding area of study.
