South-Western Feckleton

South-Western Feckleton

1. Town Square and VB Memorial Fountain: This is, as you may have guessed, the town square. It's most noteable feature is VB Memorial Fountain (VB standing for "Victory over the Brownies" - as King Crouton put it "Sure, brownies might not be all that dangerous, but hey, we still kicked their butts good!"). The Town Square is a favourite gathering place for the locals.

2. I'zoar Ruins: This strange set of ancient stones were here for gods-know how long before Feckleton was built. The original King of Feckleton - King Duhmahz the Unwise - ordered the stones removed, and was killed when a cow mysteriously exploded. Everyone else has been too scared since then to get within 20 yards of the ruins. On the bright side, the I'zoar Ruins have become a popular tourist destination.

3. Crazy Farmer Gep's Farm: This is the farm of Crazy Farmer Gep. Farmer Gep tries each year to grow a crop of Tick Tacks ("Tick Tacks - the Wonderful Candy that Tells the Time!") by planting his fields with the little white candies. His wife, grown tired after years of trying to convince the old nut that you can't grow candy, finally lost control one year and tried to plant wheat. However, when the wheat came up white, sugary and sticky, she gave up and moved away to live with her mother in Lower Grumplesburg. For his part, Crazy Farmer Gep (who used to be called "Mad Farmer Gep" - but the locals got tired of answering the tourists question "Why is he so angry?") has not even noticed that his wife has left. If asked, he insists that he just saw her "...in the kitchen, or thereabouts, plucking an ox".
