Eagle is the super-determined only son of Autozam's Lord High President. He believes in doing good for the people of his home planet, particularly when its environment becomes hostile to all life forms.
Amazingly sweet-tempered and forever smiling, people who really get to know Eagle find themselves worrying about him whenever he goes off to battle - he really seems to have that effect on people! Is it any wonder that Hikaru likes him a lot?
Unfortunately, Eagle can be a dangerous young man whenever he gets on his FTO and he's one fighter who will challenge all comers in armed combat. Still, just like the time he challenged Nova in the anime, he's willing to give up his own life to save the girl he loves.
Eagle's fate has hung in the balance since the days when MKR was being serialized in Natayoshi Deluxe.
In the manga, he battles with Hikaru to become the next Pillar of Cephiro - and ends up comatose. (Comatose, yes, but still alive.)
In the anime, Hikaru manages to persuade him that conquest isn't that important and wins him over to her side. Unfortunately, he dies defending her from her alter-ego Nova. (NOTE: Oddly, though, rumor has it that Eagle was just rendered comatose by the battle in the THIRD MKR OAV - so we still haven't seen the last of the Crown Prince of Autozam!)
In the novel, which I'm writing (Okay, okay, I've admitted it!), he lives and becomes the fabled Twin Pillar of Cephiro's new ruler, Hikaru Shidou. Sweet, huh?
