Mat Clements

Mat Clements is a percussionist making his first festival appearance in "Surely You're Joking Mr. Feynman". He brings his experience of Brazilian percussion to the show, and can regularly be seen as a teacher and player with the Edinburgh Samba School, one of the UK's largest community samba bands. He is mestre of the Edinburgh percussion ensemble Banda Cachaca and percussionist for local funksters The Ugly Groove Movement. Mat confesses that he had not heard of Richard Feynman before the show began, but is now a dedicated fan!
