Jonny Lang was born Johnny Langseth in January of 1981 in
Fargo,North Dakota.His family moved to
Minneapolis,Minnesota.He changed his name to Jonny Lang
when he started his music career.
Facts
-The first song he ever learned on the guitar was a Stone
Temple Pilots.
-He learned how to play guitar from one of his band members
-Some of his guitar heroes are Luther Aliison,Kenny
Neal,and Buddy Guy
-His first band was called Kid Jonny Lang and the Big Bang
when he was 12 years old
-Their independent album Smokin sold 25,000 copies and was
a regional hit.
-Jonny Lang changed his band name because he doesn't like
people talking about his age when mentioning his music
