All across the U.S. are hundreds of thousands of international college students, and every year that number increases.
Here at Jefferson State we have gone from 50 or 60 such students per year during the early 1990's to 100 to 125 students per year during the late 1990's.
When you add to those numbers the more than 200 "new" Americans, i.e., "green card" holders and newly naturalized citizens, who are enrolled in this College, the total number of foreign-born Jefferson State students exceeds 300 students.
