An Obervation Concerning Certain Physical and Metaphysical
Properties of This, the Best of All Possible Worlds

Momentum is the product of
velocity and mass; and so --
if formal physics is above
your head -- here's how things go:

The larger that an object is,
the swifter that it zooms along --
the truly huge when it can whiz
will knock most things from right to wrong
if they lack wit to step aside.

Conversely, then, it follows that
wee things that walk with smallish stride
will wish that they were ne'er begat
if they unthriftily collide
with speedsters on the largish side.
