The name's Annie. I've been an orphan since i was 2. My Aunt Mai became my legal gardian. My aunt is a businesswoman, traveling from cities to cities. When i was little, i used to go with her. But now that i'm 14, i do my own traveling. My Aunt Mai wants me to learn to be responsible. Of course, I only travel in summer. Meanwhile, i have to go to school like every other teens. Usually, to travel, i follow music groups or celebrities. I get my money to travel and eat by working; babysitting and meaningless jobs. But my aunt has only one rule, i can't get out of Canada. It's a big country, i don't mind. wherever i go, i buy postcards. I have like tons right now. And like i'm following superstars, i have millions of autographs. It's impressive! I even have Leo's signature!! It's to die for!! I don't really care about finding a place to sleep. Sometimes i go to the YWCA or go to a motel. but if i do that, i must cut my expenses a tad. Other times, i meet other teeny-boppers and we bocome friends. When i explain my situation, they usually invite me over at their house for the night. I always promise to keep in touch with them so that they don't feel used. I do keep my promise. Every month, i write to Jean, Christine, Victoria, Jasmine, kelly, kathryn, and Julie, thanking them for their hospitality. I see many cute guys. Sometimes, on my lucky days, i can hang with them while i think of a place to go. But i never ever see them again. I can protect myself from weirdos with self-defense since i took a course a while ago. I also have a pocket knife. If there's a big guy attacking me, i know where to kick :)
Anyway, i was in Montreal when i heard that the Moffatts were in town. I rushed over at Planet Hollywood where an autograph session took place. Boy! That restaurant is everywhere! I was talking to this girl behing me in line, TAMMY JONES. I told her about my traveling. I showed her all my autographs, pictures, and postcards that i keep in my messenger bag. She was very impressed! She too was orphan but she lives with her uncle. And this was pure coincidence but her uncle is a businessman too. Funny!! "So! Where are you staying?" I asked her. I was curious since businessmen usually travel a lot. "we have a home here in Montreal, but i'm usually at home alone, i can't do anything" she answered sadly. "i have an idea! Like we're both in the exact same situation, why don't you travel Canada with me?! i sure need the company!!" i exclaimed excitedly.
"That could be arranged! I'll have to ask my uncle!! Wait! i can call him now!! But we'll have to get out of the line" "that's ok" i said "we'll come back later" she went to a phone booth nearby.
"hello?! Uncle Bert?! It's me, Tammy!!"
She was telling him about the traveling. I prayed for him to say yes but Tammy looked very serious at the moment, too serious. "Uh-huh....ok...i know....ok...ok...bye!!"
She hung up...
"So...what did he say?" i asked anxiously.
"Well, he yelled at me for calling him in a middle of a meeting.....but he did tell me.....THAT I CAN GO!!!!!"
"Great!!" i exclaimed. I was glad he agreed.
We both did a short victory dance. Then, we rushed over to the end of the line.
(me)"Hey! Look! We can see them from here!"
(Tams) "They're so cute!!"
(me) "Who's your favorite? Mine's Bob!
(Tams) "I think it's more in the line of Clint for me, but they're all so cute and talented, it's hard to choose...."
(me) " Hey! Now we can almost touch them!!"
Actually, there was only 2 persons ahead of us. As i was preparing my autograph book, they announced that the autograph session was over. Me and tammy were so frustrated. As we were turning back to the exit, I got seriously bumped by another person. My messenger bag flew up and all my pics, postcards, and autograph books were all mixed up and out. I didn't take a look at my "bumper", I just bent down and picked them all up.
"I'm so sorry, i didn't mean to run into you like that. Here, let me help you!" that person said. Sweet voice by the way.
"That's ok!! I'm finished!" i said in a crisp voice.
That person bent down to help me anyway. I looked up and saw SCOTT MOFFATT!! I stood up quicly, holding my messenger bag tightly.
"Hi!" he said. He shook my hand.
"Hi..." i said.
"Please don't scream!!" he added
I let out a little laugh.
"why would i do that?" i asked
"Usually, when we meet fans personally, they always scream!!!"
"Well, i'm not one of those girls"
He seems satisfied with my answer.
Then Dave, Clint and Bob joined Scott.
"Scott, you're such a klutz" said his brother Dave.
They all laughed to Scott's embarrassment.
"i'm sorry, but we gotta go" i said, shredding the laughter "By the way, my name's Annie"
The shaking of the hands begin here.
"Where are you going?" Scott asked, obviously curious.
"Well, our destination is unknown, me and Tammy are traveling around Canada!!! Anything can happen!!" I said excitedly.
"Really?! How cool!!! Hey! Why don't you ladies meet us outside in 10 min. and we'll go somewhere before you go?!!!!" suggested Scott. He's sure talkative. I always thought that Bob was. Any-hoo!!!
"I have another idea" said Tammy "We can go to my house, here in Montreal, nobody'll be there!!!"
"I personally think that that is a very good idea....my personal opinion, of course..." i said
"Sure" they all said, well, except Bob. He seemed a little bit distant.
He's so cute when he's dreamy!!!
Then, he came out of his auto-coma,
"We can't......we have to practice for tomorrow's concert!"
"What a party-pooper! We can practice tomorrow morning, we have to have a little bit of fun!" Scott added with a smile. Cute! Very cute!
"Fine.....we can go.....i'm not staying here alone with Dad"said Bob seriously, not even one smile.
"Ok, then! we'll wait for you guys outside, it's too crowded here!!" i said......
"Ok, see ya!! " Scott said with another superb smile! He's sure perkier than the others.
Me and Tammy went outside. We were completely freaking out. Usually, when I meet supastars, all I can do is get an autograph and sometimes a conversation! this is way beyond that! This is so cool!
(me) "I'm gonna be able to talk with Bob!! I'm sure he'll loosen up after awhile! He's so cute, even from close!!"
(tams) " Clint's cuter!!"
(me) " Well, they have the same face, but Bob is definitely cuter than Clint!"
While we were fighting over Bob and Clint, Scott came out first and heard everything.
"Hey! Why aren't you fighting over me? " he said as a joke.
"Oh! HI! sorry about that, Tammy won't admit that BOB'S cuter!" i said.
"Because he's not, CLINT is!" she exclaimed.
"Ladies!Ladies! Calm down! You're making me jealous!!" he said.
"You're silly, Scott!" i said in a laugh.
We forgot about the fight when we saw the others coming, Bob closing the march. He's definitely very cute with his long hair.
Tammy was almost thinking the same thing about Clint, except thinking about his very short hair.
We stopped by Pizza Hut first for a bite! We need not to fear because,
i'm sorry to say, the Moffatts aren't really known here. Pizza's my favorite meal! It's so good! I like every kind, even with anchovies. Then, we went to Tammy's house.
"So! what do you guys wanna do?!" she asked.
"hey! Let's play Truth or Dare!" I suggested
"yea!!"
"ok!!"
"Sure!!"
"Great!"
"fine......."
"Ok, so who wants to go first?" asked Tammy
"I'll be numero uno!!! " i said.
"Ok, Scott!!! Truth or dare?!!"
He thought for a while, then said "Dare!!"
"Ok, Hop on one foot and cluck like a chicken. Remember to do the chicken wings too!!"
"ok......" he said awkwardly.
What Scott didn't know was i had a tape recorder and a camera. I recorded his clucking and I have a picture of him doing the chicken. I have a polaroid so we could see the pic instantly. We were all laughing, even Bob.
"This is very precious!" I whispered to Tammy showing her the pic and the tape.
"Ok....my turn" Scott said.
"Tammy! Truth or dare?!"
"Dare!" she said very firmly.
"The one you find cutest in the 4 of us, give him a kiss!!" Scott said.
Scott was obviously giving Tammy a bonus.
"Don't you dare touch Bob!" i exclaimed, obviously surprising him.
She had an evil grin and decided to kiss Bob just to spite me.
"You're gonna get it next time!" i said as a joke...
"Ok! Tammy! Choose your victim!" Scott said.
"Ok! Clint! Truth or Dare?!"
"I take Truth!" Clint said.
"Wuss!" said Dave to him.
"Shut up!" he replied."Ok...Tammy, ask me anything......."
"Ok! Who's more attractive, me or Annie?", she said devilishly.
"Be careful Clint! you can wind up a wounded man" said Dave jokingly.
"umm.........ok....who's more attractive?............um............"
You could really feel the hesitation.
