"What a beautiful day today is going to be!" you think to yourself while you still lying in your bed one morning, day-dreaming. You hear cars in the streets, kids laughing and playing and birds chriping outside your window. Finally you decide to get up and get ready for the day, you glance at you clock: 10:09am. "Good thing its summer!" you say outloud. "What honey?" your Mother asks you as she walks up to your bedroom door. "Nothing just thinking outloud to myself mom." you reply back to her. "Well you missed breakfast so you will have to fix something for yourself, your father and I are going to be gone for the day so you will have to fend for yourself." She announced. "Sure mom, I will probably be gone all day anyway! It’s the first day of summer! You don’t expect me to stay home in this hot house on the first day of my break do you?" you ask. "Then get going!" your mom says back as she turns around and leaves.

As you walk down the street to you best friends house you hear loud shreiks coming from the mall, as you look over you see a HUGE crowd of teenage girls, screaming and waving pictures around in the air. "What did I miss? you think to yourself. You see your friend and her sister in the crowd and go over to see whats going on. "HEY!" you yell at them to get their attention. They look over at you and wave. You walk closer and when you get close enough for them to hear you over everyone else you ask, "WHATS GOING ON?" "YOU DON’T KNOW?" your friend yells back. "THE MOFFATTS ARE HERE FOR AN AUTOGRAPH SESSION!" You know the Moffatts, in fact you have the CD! Butyou only know the music, you really didn’t know much more about them except that they sing and play and you know their names are Clint, Dave, Bob, and Scott. You realize the screaming gets louder and you look up, the Moffatts just stepped out and sat down. You decided to try to get closer for a better look, the crowd is crazy! You soon find that going through the crowd wont get you far so you decide to go around. You separate from your friend and her sister and step out the side of the crowd. After a bit of walking you get close enough to really see them, your off to the side watching when one of them looks up right at you. You wonder if he is looking at you or if he is looking at someone else around you, so you look around to see nobody but yourself. You look back at him and he points to you and smiles. You smile back, and wonder which one it is.

Chapter II

After your encounter with one of the Moffatts, you decide to stick around after the session and after everyone clears out just in case you get a chance to talk to him. You look behind you and see a bench and decide to sit down and wait. After you sit you look up and catch him looking at you again. You look back and smile. You see him turn around and start talking to one of the men behind him. They talk for about a minute and then you see the Moffatt point you out, the man nods his head and starts walking towards you.

"What does he want?" you think to yourself getting kinda nervous because this man is really big!

"Excuse me Miss?" he calls to you.

"Yes?" you say back after he approaches you.

"Scott Moffatt over there signing autographs," he says pointing to him, "has asked me to ask you if you will stick around until after he is finished."

"So its Scott," you think. Looking back up to the huge man you ask, "Why?"

"That’s not to my knowledge you will just have to see what he wants after he is done." he says and with that he turns and leaves.

You decide to wait him, and you think who wouldn’t? So you sit back down and watch. You see your friend approach the table and get autographs, after she has gotten them she runs up to you screaming "Look what I got!" while waving them in the air. You take a look at them, all of them are very good-looking. "And guess what!" she says, "they have decided to play some songs while they are here!" "Cool!" you say back. After watching for a few more minutes you cant wait until its over so you can go talk to Scott and see what he wants. After they are finished signing autographs they start getting ready to play. Your friends and her sister beside you are going berserk! But you realize that every second that tics by you are getting more excited to. "Look!" your friend says "They are on!" One of them steps up to the mike, its Clint. He says Hello to everyone and thanks them for coming and giving them support. Bob introduces the song they are going to preform and its called, "Girl I’m Gonna Get You." As they begin to play you watch Scott and see him watching you, soon they start singing the first part of the song:

Girl, I’ve been watching you Wondering what’s your name and could I get ya I’m hoping that you feel the same Baby, what’s on your mind?

As you listen and watch you see Scott is watching you the whole time, like he is singing the song directly to you. "Look! Scott is looking at me!" your friends’ sis says. "He is looking at me actually." her sister replies back to her. You know they are both wrong, he is watching you.

After they sing a few more songs its over. You turn to your friend, "That was awesome!"

"Definately!" she says back. "You wanna do something?" she adds.

"I think I am just going to go home." you say but I will call you later ok?"

Your friend and her sister turn to leave. But your not going home, you turn around and sit on the bench were the man had approached you earlier. You decided not to tell your friend about Scott wanting you to wait because you knew she would want to stay with you and you wanted to be alone.

After waiting about 15 minutes you see Scott and the rest of them coming towards you. When they get closer you stand up to say hello. "Hi!" Scott says to you, "I’m Scott and these are my brothers Clint, Bob, and Dave." "Yeah I know!" you say thinking to yourself why they decided to meet you out of all the other girls that were there. You introduce youself to them all when Dave says, "So why didn’t you come up to get an autograph eh?" Surprized by the question which you didn’t really have an answer for you just say, "I don’t know too loud, too many girls screaming and running into you." "Tell us about it!" Bob says.

You all continue to have a conversation when their dad and stepmom come up to them and tell them its time to go back to the hotel. You smile at them and you introduce themselves as they did the same.

Well it was nice to meet you." Clint says as he shakes your hand. Bob shakes your hand next then Dave and when Scott does he looks at you and smiles. You feel as you shake his hand a peice of paper. You smile back and release his hand.

"Maybe we will see you again!" Clint says as they leave.

"Bye!" you call.

After they are out of site you open the paper to read: This sounds weird I know but I couldn’t help but notice you from the crowd. We are goping to be in town for a few more days and I want to talk to you again. Meet me at the Hardrock Café tonight at 7. Hope to see you. ~Scott~

You fold the peice of paper back up and stuff it tin your pocket, and start to go home. Your so happy and excited it feels like your floating on air.
