Jakob Luke Dylan was born on December 9th of 1969 in the state of New York. He formed a band called The Apples with Tobi Miller, Barrie Maguire (bass) and Peter Yanowitz (drums) and when Rami Jaffee (keyboard) joined them, they had by then called themselves The Wallflowers.
3 of them however left the band just before their 2nd album was released and new members were recruited. The Wallflowers was then reborn with Michael Ward and Mario Calire as drummer and guitarist, and Greg Richling to play bass.
