The RMS Titanic set sail from Southhampton England on April 12, 1912 on it's maiden voyage to New York. The passenger list was impressive, First Class had some of the worlds high society aboard. The steerage class had people making their way to America with families to start a new life.

April 1911- January 1912: Titanic fitted and furnished in Belfast, Ireland
April 2, 1912 - Titanic leaves Belfast, Ireland for Southampton, England , for it's maiden voyage to New York.
April 5, 1912 : Titanic arrives in Southampton, England at midnight, Good Friday
April 6, 1912 : Cargo is loaded and most of the crew is hired from the Southhampton Area.
April 10, 1912 : The Titanic leaves Southampton England at noon, stopping in Cherbourg, France at 6:35pm before setting continuing the voyage to Ireland
April 12, 1912 : Stops in Queenstown, Ireland, 1:30pm sets sail for New York, USA
April 14, 1912 :Titanic receives at least six ice warnings, Captain EJ Smith is informed.
April 14, 1912 11:40 p.m.: The lookouts see the iceberg. The iceberg strikes the Titanic on the starboard side of her bow.
April 14, 1912 11:50 p.m.: Water has risen 14 feet in the front portion of the ships lower decks.
April 15, 1912: 12:00 a.m.: Captain Smith gives the order to send out the distress call over the wireless.
April 15, 1912 12:05 a.m.: Orders are given to uncover the lifeboats and to get passengers and crew ready on deck.
April 15, 1912 12:25 a.m.: Lifeboats are now loading with women and children first.
April 15, 1912 12:45 a.m.: The first lifeboat is safely
lowered . loaded only with 28 people, the capacity was 65. The first distress rocket
if fired. Eight rockets are fired that night.
April 15, 1912 1:15 a.m.: The tilt of the deck grows steeper.As passengers begin to realize the truth, lifeboats now begin to leave fully loaded.Panic sets in.
April 15, 1912 1:40 a.m.: The forward lifeboats have been lowered. Passengers begin to scramble back to the stern area.
April 15, 1912 2:05 a.m.: The tilt of Titanic's deck grows steeper . The last lifeboat is lowered away. There are now over 1,500 people left on the ship. .
April 15, 1912 2:17 a.m.: The last distress call is sent over the wireless. The bow plunges under, many passengers and crew jump off, slowly freezing in the icy waters of the Atlantic .One of the ships huge funnels collapses, crushing several people.
April 15, 1912 2:18 a.m.: The ship's lights flicker once then go out. Several survivors see the ship break into two parts . The bow sinks.
April 15, 1912 2:20 a.m.: The stern settles back into the water. It fills with water, tilts its end high into the air sinking into the Atlantic.
April 15, 1912 3:30 a.m.: The Carpathia's rockets are sighted by survivors in the lifeboats.
April 15, 1912 4:10 a.m.: The first lifeboat with survivors is picked up by the Carpathia.
April 15, 1912 8:50 a.m.: The Carpathia leaves the area bound for New York, with 705 survivors .
April 18, 1912: 9:00 p.m.: The Carpathia arrives in New York with survivors.Families are waiting for news of their loved ones
April 19 to May 25, 1912: A total of 328 bodies are found floating in the area, by ships sent to the disaster site.
