Oscar winner Michael Caine (1986 - Best Supporting Actor - Hannah And Her Sisters) returns as super spy Harry Palmer...hero of The Ipcress File, Funeral in Berlin and Billion Dollar Brain...an unconventional British agent with an illustrious record in Her Majesty's Secret Service. But when Harry is downsized off the government payroll, he heads for the capitalistic chaos of the "new" Russia, where he signs on with a mysterious industrial tycoon (Michael Gambon) and his resourceful young accomplice (Jason Connery).
