After a routine autopsy on a drug smuggler reveals the presence of cholera, epidemic specialist Hannah Cole (Lindsay Wagner) is brought in to investigate. Knowing how contagious the disease is - and how quickly it kills - Hannah and a no-nonsense narcotics detective (Elizabeth Pena) hit the streets to find the contaminated cocaine. Hannnah's investigation leads to a shocking discovery: her husband (Tom Wopat) was exposed to the disease before going on a remote camping trip. Now, in a desperate race against time, Hannah mounts an intensive search to find her husband before the disease claims him.
