Afterburners roar and the world's hottest jets slice across the sky. Shotgun Watkins (Michael Pare) is the sharpest, hardest working fighter jock in the Air Force, but the toughest mission of his career is babysitting Tom Slade (Anthony Michael Hall), a spoiled, slick movie star preparing for a new role.
