Manny (Tim Roth) is a lost soul, recently divorced, unemployed and struggling to find himself. Danny (Alexis Arquette) is his younger brother, a hopeless drug addict struggling to find his next high. Now, after years apart, they have one day to rebuild their relationship, during an odyssey that takes them through the meanest streets of New York City. It's a startling journey through a world filled with violent drug dealers, burned-out buildings and broken dreams. Yet only by retracing their childhood footsteps can they find the love and brotherhood they've lost. And only with each other's help can they find the strength to change their lives, or be lost forever.
