A heartfelt romantic comedy, Nick & Jane proves that opposites do attract - even in Manhattan. Jane is a driven financial analyst climbing the corporate ladder. But when she finds her yuppie boyfriend in bed with a co-worker, her world starts to spin out of control. Enter Nick, struggling artist turned improverished cab driver. Through a bizarre chain of events, Nick is "hired" to pose as Jane's new beau. What ensues is a twisted web of lies, confusion, and deceit that leads to everyone being miserable. With the help of his "interesting" East Village friends, Nick must risk everything to save Jane's career and his broken heart. The meter is running on a love affair to remember.
