Molly Ringwald, star of Pretty In Pink, The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles shines as P.K., a teenage girl who stows away on a truck to flee a stormy homelife in this heartwarming drama. A teenager on the run from her abusive stepfather, P.K. finds friendship in a young man who's on his way to the national arm wrestling championship. He's pursuing a dream. She's running from a nightmare. Together, they're out to beat the odds. Paul LeMat (American Graffiti, Melvin & Howard) stars as "The Kid." A supporting cast featuring Esther Rolle and sportscaster John Madden help propel P.K. And The Kid to a rousing, roaring climax.
