Gwen (Jeanne Tripplehorn) and Nick (Dylan McDermott) are in love. They just don't know it yet. Ever since they bumped into each other in childhood, their lives have gone in opposite directions. Gwen could never imagine that her dream man is Nick, an architect who plans to raze the historic apartment building she's trying to preserve. And Nick, who's already romantically linked with a neurotic former TV child star (Sarah Jessica Parker), has no idea he's about to step into Cupid's line of fire.
