Romeo and Juliet meets Beach Blanket Bingo in Under The Boardwalk - a tale of two star-crossed lovers trying to overcome the rivalry, prejudice, and violence of the highly-charged surf scene. If Romeo and Juliet had lived in 1980's Southern California, their backdrop would be the Pacific Ocean. He would be a "Val" and she would be a "Lowk" (local). And they would move to the beat of electric guitars. Nick Rainwood and Allie Yorpin (Danielle Von Zerneck) are such a couple. Separated by the unbridgable gulf of their backgrounds, torn between loyalty to their "gangs" and their real desires, and caught in the middle of a rivalry that grows worse by the hour. All their hopes and fears come to a head in the final surf contest - a modern-day "surf to the death" duel. At stake are both Nick's pride and his future with Allie. And only his board lies between Nick and his ultimate fate. Under The Boardwalk - the ultimate in Combat Surf!
