productions. Katy
Sollon is my Character and nobody can copy her. I want to thank
my
sister, Puma, for helping me through this awkward stage. I also
want
to thank my friend down in Virginia, she's always on my mind. In
here
is an Ode to my fave author, Charles Grant, I want to thank him
for
writing such imaginative and creative stories. Last but not least
I
want to thank my cat, Teddy, for jumping on my head all those
nights,
scaring me so bad that I can't go back to sleep. That is when I
think
of this sick stuff. Well, enjoy the story. There is some
violence,
nothing really appalling. Have fun!
The Obsession
By: Agent Ross
Finally, free at last. She couldn't hold back the smile. After
being
in prison for 4 years, she was being released. Katy Sollon walked
out
of the Maryland state prison with pride. She was sent there when
she
was 12. Her record said 5 counts of murder, prostitution and drug
dealing. Since the crimes she had committed were so serious, she
was
tried as an adult. At one time, one of the psychiatrists at the
prison
had said that her head was so messed up from drugs that she
couldn't
even work out a simple math procedure. He was right at the time
but
now she was perfectly normal, at least they thought. They had
taught
her how to drive at the prison. They also had taught her stuff
she
would have learned at high school. When she drove out of the
parking
lot, Katy knew exactly where to go, downtown Washington D.C..
As Fox Mulder rounded a corner, his dark brown hair flopped in
front of his face. He was too busy thinking to notice the junky
red
car pull up across the street and park. Katy stepped out of her
car
and closed the door quietly, not to draw attention to herself.
"thick
headed" Katy said to herself as she followed behind him. he
hadn't
changed a bit, still that big nose and those big round puppy dog
eyes. He was just so cute. Ever since she had layed eyes on him,
it
was a total obsession. He rounded another corner. She let herself
slip
farther back behind him and watched as he walked inside a old
diner. She was about to walk in too, but she saw through the
window
that Mulder had just sat in a booth across from a women with red
hair. She stared at the woman for a moment before the word came
to
her. "Scully", that was her name, she was Mulder's
partner. She
looked at the two talking to each other for a moment and walked
away
towards her car. She had to get him some other way when he was
alone
and vulnerable. Disappointed, she got back into her car.
The door swung open wide at the slightest touch of her
finger. The authorities had set her up at some run-down place.
Two
rooms, a bed and a table with 2 chairs. She waltzed in and
flopped
into her bed. The brass bars at the top of the bed reminded her
of her
jail cell. Katy wrapped her arms around the cold brass. She
lifted her
head up and stared at the only light in the room. A smile crossed
her
face and she let out a maniacal laugh. Her laughter died to a
giggle,
she stood up and walked over to the table. She sat down and
tapped her
finger on the table while she thought of what she was going to do
to
him. First she'd smash a pot over his head then take the soil
that had
spilled out and smear it over his head. Running her fingers
through
his fine hair and make it slick with mud. No, that sounds too
subtle. She has to do something life threatening. She'll tie him
up
and wrap her fingers around him neck and squeeze. No, she doesn't
want
to kill him. She will fill his bath tub full of ice cold water
and put
him in it, dunking his head under for a couple seconds then bring
him
up for air, making him beg for mercy. Katy shifted her body and
started thinking about how they had first met. She was only 12
and she
had gone to the abandoned warehouse on 37th street. She had made
her
usual rounds, selling drugs to the local addicts. Some how he had
anticipated her moves and he was waiting there, gun in hand. She
replayed her capture in her mind's eye in slow motion. Katy
rounded
the corner, not able to see him in the dark, he jumped out at
her. He
wrapped his arms around her for a second, but then pulled Katy's
hands
behind her back, slapping hand cuffs on her. He turned her around
and
that's when she first got a look into his eyes. All the rest of
the
story was just details that had faded away. The only thing that
really
stuck out in her mind was when their eyes met. Katy sighed and
put her
head down on the table.
Agent Dana Scully walked into Mulder's office and sat down in
a chair
across of him.
"It's two days till Halloween, what are you gonna dress up
as?" Scully asked.
"You mean at the Halloween party? Well, I'll be a
Psychopathic loser who is obsessed with aliens." replied
Mulder.
"Really? how will that look?" said Scully.
"I'll be myself" replied Mulder with a grin.
"That's not fair! If I dress up, you have to too."
replied
Scully playfully. "Well, I gotta get going. I'll see you
later, Bye."
Scully said as as she walked out the door. It was pretty late, He
should get to the book store before it closed.
Mulder pushed opened the heavy doors into the bookstore,
heading
towards the science fiction section. Katy walked in, right behind
him.
He turned down the row labeled 'Science Fiction'. Katy watched
him
pick up a book and start reading. She walked up behind him and
tapped
him on the shoulder, He turned around and their eyes met.
"Have you read anything by Charles Grant?" Katy asked
with a
sly smile.
"No I haven't, Why?" Mulder replied startled.
"No reason, See you soon" She smiled again and hurried
out of
the store.
Mulder was back in his room now and had changed into a
sweatshirt and
jeans. He sat on the couch and switched on the TV, But it was no
use
he couldn't get that strange women out of his mind. The way she
had
looked at him when their eyes met had been so disturbing to him,
it
was like she was watching him. What especially disturbed him was
the
way she said "see you later", It really scared him.
With this thought
in his mind he got up and dialed Scully's number.
"Hello?" said Scully
"This girl has been following me, I don't know who she is.
But
the glare in her eyes really scares me." said Mulder
{Knock,Knock}
"Hold on, I'll be back." Mulder walked over to the door
and
opened it. Katy was standing there. Her big blue eyes stared into
his
and she smiled.
"It's you!" he said. She lunged forward, her 5'8"
body
knocked his 6'0" body to the floor. Mulder's cordless phone
flew out
of his hand and onto the floor. They were rolling on the floor
but
finally Katy rolled on top and sat on him, reaching over to his
table,
she picked up a pot. She smashed it over his head, knocking him
out. He fell backwards onto the floor with a thump.
She walked over to the fallen cordless phone. She picked it up
and said into it, "He'll call you back."
Pushing the phone button, she threw it into a corner. She
walked over to him and sat down next to his motionless body. Katy
picked up the moist dirt that had fallen to the floor. She rubbed
it
into his hair, thinking to herself how soft it was. He looked so
peaceful when he was out cold. She stood up and walked over to
the
closet, pulling out an extension cord, wrapping it around his
hands
and legs. After she was finished tying him up she looked at his
peaceful face and had the urge to kiss him. She bent over him and
rubbed her finger over his lips then she kissed him gently. Then
Katy
stood up straight with a evil smile on her face and grabbed his
legs,
dragging him into his bathroom. She turned the water in the bath
tub
onto cold and started filling the tub.
It took some effort but she finally was able to lift Mulder
into the tub, the water reached up to about the level of his
mouth. The cold water revived him and his eyes flew open. She
looked
down at him and smiled.
"Remember me?" she said.
Mulder blinked and said, "No! Who are you?"
She reached her hand down and pushed his head under the cold
water. When the cold water hit his inner ear he flinched. Katy
held
his head under while counting to 4. She lifted his head up and he
gasped for air.
"Does the name Katy Sollon ring a bell?" She said as
she
shoved his head back under. this time counting to 3. When his
head
went up he had a face of total shock.
"(gasping)They let you out?" Mulder said.
"Thought you had locked me up for good, huh." she
shoved his
head under again, now counting to 5. Mulder was getting weak from
lack of air. He tried to move his arms but his tub was too
narrow. She
noticed him squirming and said,
"Oh, don't worry about getting away, you're mine now."
Mulder
was scared that she might actually drown him when she held his
head
under for 7 seconds. She brought him back up for that life saving
breath of air.
"Nobody can have you now. Not even Scully!" Katy said
as she
pushed his head under once more, maybe for the last time.
Suddenly
there was a knock at the door. Katy looked up at the door but
didn't
do anything. Without warning Scully opened it wide, gun drawn.
Mulder
had been under the water for a good 20 seconds. Katy took one
last
look at Mulder's face and pulled his head up. He was gasping for
air
when Scully pulled the trigger. The bullet hit Katy in the
shoulder
but she wasn't stopped that easy. Katy stood up and ran at
Scully. She
pulled the trigger, hitting Katy in the leg. Katy fell to the
floor,
in one last muscle contraction she kicked at nothing, then lost
conscience.
"She was so young when I caught her. Obviously, her head
was so messed
up that she couldn't think straight. I still can't believe that
they
let her out. Somebody like that should be locked away in a mental
institution. I thought that she was going to drown me."
Mulder said to
Scully as they walked down the hall to Mulder's office.
"Well, be thankful I was there to save you." said
Scully with
a smile on her face.
Mulder frowned and said, "I don't feel to good right now.
I'll
go ask Skinner if I can take the day off."
"Go right ahead." said Scully. She walked faster now,
to the
stairs, she turned and walked up them. Mulder turned around and
headed towards Skinner's office.
When in his car, Mulder thought about what happened. How could
a girl
like that get so wacko that she was obsessed with him. So
obsessed
that she was going to drown him. He remembered the time he had
captured her when had first started with the Bureau. It was one
of his
first cases. He knew that she would make her usual rounds at the
rundown warehouse. He hid in the dark and waited for hours.
Finally
seeing her, he jumped out and grabbed her, hand cuffing her. He
vaguely remembered the moment their eyes met. Those eyes were
disturbing. They had no soul, you could stare in them and see
absolutely nothing. He turned on the radio to try to forget
them. Nothing helped. As he was pulling into the parking deck, He
stared at his face in the rear view mirror and thought to himself
"I
hope they lock her up and throw away the key....."
