I am Murlin and I am immortal. A quirk of birth? A gift from my mother? A legacy of my father? I do not know how it is, but I know that it is true. Neither do I know the source of the words that fill my head and fall from my lips like firedrops onto the tinder of men's hearts.
The words, the images: what is, what was and what will be... I have but to look and the mists grow thin and I peer a little way along the scattered paths of time.
Was there ever a time like this?
Never! And that is both the glory and the terror of it. If men knew what it was that loomed before them, they would quail, they would faint. It is their blessing and their curse that they do not know. But I know; I, Murlin, have always known.

Who is Murlin?
Hello and thank you for taking the time to visit my Dragon Lair. I hope you are enjoying your visit.
Now let me tell you a little about myself.
I was born in Indiana and lived there till I was 18.Thats when I joined the army, but thats another story.
Now I live in Texas with my younger son Stratius. I have an older son in the Air Force. He is stationed in California with his wife. They just had their first baby May 1st 1998. I think he is trying to make an old man out of me. LOL!
I love to chat on the internet, and you can find me on in the evening most of the time in nightHaven. I also visit in friends-w-disability, friendlyfaces, and sometimes in foodtalk. So if you feel like it come on in and visit.
I have met many people since I'v been on line. It still amazes me how all these people fit into such a tight place.
Also in chat everyone is talking at the same time and no one thinks its rude and people are so much friendlier than in real life.....I like that. I wish all the people in the world were on the internet. Maby there wouldn't be as nuch trouble as there is now, The things that make me happy are true Love ans Peace. Now on that note Peace to you and your true love.
