Jewish people are spread all over
the world. Each branch extending from the globe is inscribed with the approximate
number of jewish people living in that country or area.
The globe in the center revolves.
The six pointed Star of David connecting the branches on both sides is
symbolic of their common bond, and the "shamash" symbolizes Zion as the
guiding light for all to return follow.
The branches from left bottom up
and past the "shamash" read: Russia, England, Canada, Brazil, South Africa,
Argentina, France, United States of America.
