The end of Myst is considered that you have gotten all the pages from all four ages and you are trying to make a decision which brother to let free or you have already let a brother free.

Basically the brothers are both lieing. If you let them free you get stuck in the book. BUT.. You can touch the green book and talk to their father Atrus. He is good !!! Now he is telling you to get the green page for him. If you have no clue what he is talking about then I’ll explain. Warning: Don’t go into the book until you have the green(it’s actualy white) page. If you were to all the lands and looked around a lot then you should have found atleast one half of the page saying something like this: Marker Switch Island The volt is located in very plain view on the island of Myst and access can be achieved very easily if the simple instructions are followed. First locate each of the marker switches on the island. Turn everyone of these switches to the “on” position. Then go to the dock and as a final step turn the marker switch there to the “off” position.

Once you’ve done that a safe will open below the marker switch and if it didn’t that means the marker switches aren’t in the up position (on). Well that’s about all you need to know so once you’ve done that go back to the library go to the green book and enter d’ni and give Atrus the final page.
