Do you know what the tower rotation is ? Well the tower rotation is located in the library. If you use it properly it will give you hints about Myst. This is how you use it:

1. Turn on as many marker switches as you can on myst island. (They should be in the up position)

2. Go into the library and look on the map.

3. Click and hold on the tower and a white line should go around it. When the line turns red on an object drawn release the button.

4. Now, click on the picture to the left of the bookshelf. Then the bookshelf will open.

5. Go down the hall way to the elevator. Press the up button on the elevator. At the top there are 2 ladders. When you go up one there will be a window where you see the object that the clue applies to. On the top of the other ladder on the wall, there will be the clue.

· If you didn’t find any clues repeat process until you get it right. your problem may be that the line isn't red or the marker switch isn't up check those two things then try again.

Oh yah if you can’t figure out how to get out of the library click on the picture on the right side of the bookshelf. Which will show an open door. (The other one has a closed door to the library which will close the door).
