'Guilty By Suspicion' -- A Synopsis
Hollywood was put on trial in 1951. The courtroom question Are you now or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party? caused film industry fear, paranoia and suicide as accusatory fingers were pointed at close friends. But blacklisted director David Merrill (Robert De Niro), refused to testify and his stand became a political turning point in the most scandalous witch hunt in American history.
Tom plays Ray Karlin, one of the investigators. Tom is on screen for under 5 minutes.
