Synopsis
'Heart And Souls' -- A Synopsis
Life doesn’t allow for second chances – at least, that’s how it seemed to four strangers on a San Francisco bus in 1959; Harrison (Charles Grodin) a would-be operat singer with stage fright; Penny (Alfred Woodard), a single mother working nights to support her children; Milo (Tom Sizemore), a free-wheeling cat burglar who’s feeling the pangs of conscience; and Julia (Kyra Sedgwick), a young woman who’s being forced to choose between marriage and independence. It wasn’t until the day they died that they finally get a second chance at life.
Unfortunately, that second chance depended on the good nature of Thomase Reilly (Robert Downey, Jr) the reluctant mortal who’s fated to help the four earthbond souls in their quest to fulfil their unresolved dreams.
A poignant comedy directed by Rob Underwood (City Slickers, Tremors).
Tom has a fair amount of screen time.
