Sara & Peter

This is the story of how we met,
and about our wedding day!
We met on December the 5th.1968,
and dated from then on until June 30th.1973,
when we were married in St.Denis Roman Catholic Church
by Pete's cousin Reverend Father Paul Curley at 3:00 P.M..

A reception was held at the
Fairview Mall Restaurant in the Napoleon Room.

We had several attendants in our wedding which included:

Tracey Jones~Jr.Bridesmaid and niece to the groom
Tammy Myles~Flower Girl and niece to the bride

Jim Duffy~Best Man and friend to the groom
Larry Augustus~Usher and brother to the bride
Bob Poirier~Usher and friend to the groom
Russ Seniuk~Usher and friend to the groom
Paul Malton~Usher and friend to the groom
Terry Leonard~Usher and friend to the groom
Patrick Gagliardi~Ring Bearer and nephew to the bride

So...... as you can see we had a fairly large wedding party!

This is my brother Garnet,
He is the one who gave me away.
Dad passed away in 1961, when I was almost 10.
But I know he was with us all,that day in spirit!

Here we are... all of the ladies
and of course the little handsome ring bearer.

This is Donna, my maid of honor and I,
getting ready to leave.

Here I am...... off to the church !
A friend of ours lent us this car to use for the day.
It is a 1929 Cadillac!

Here we are,
my brother Garnet and I arriving at the church.

Taking that long walk down the aisle.
That aisle was sooooo lomg!

Pete and I saying our vows.
The priest,Father Paul Curley, is a cousin of Pete's

I guess this is what some people refer to as
"Signing Your Life Away"
We sort of looked at it as,
"The Beginning Of The Rest Of Our Lives"
