Marquees are an easy way to add some life to your pages. There are however, some considerations to think about when using them.
Marquees sometimes prevent animations from working or sometimes it's the other way around. Let's just say they interfere with each other.
Some thought should be given as to the placement of marquees on the page. They can visually OVERPOWER other things on the page. After installing a marquee, re-check the page as a whole. Does the marquee " take over " the page ? If that isn't really what you wanted it to do, maybe adjust the height, color and direction of movement to get a positive effect.
