CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE
4 (1oz. squares unsweetened chocolate
4 tbls. butte
2 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

3 tbls. flour
2 c. coursely chopped pecans (8oz.)
1 (9 in) unbaked pastry shell
3 oz. bittersweet or semisweet chocolate cut into 1/2 inch chunks

1. preheat oven to 375º.
In a 1 qt. glass bowl, combine unsweetened chocolate and butter.
Heat in a microwave oven on high 1 min. or until melted and smooth when stirred.
Add brown sugar, eggs, milk, vanilla, salt and flour and mix until well blended.
2. spread pecans over bottom of unbaked pastry shell. sprinkle bittersweet or semisweet chocolate pieces over nutes.
Top with filling.
3. Bake 35 To 40 min. or until set.
Cover edges of pie crust with foil during last 15 min. of baking time if necessary; to prevent over browning.
Serve warm or chilled with whipped cream
