ENCHILADA SAUCE

  • 3 Tbsp or more of chili powder
  • 2 Tbsp paprika
  • 2 Tbsp cooking oil
  • salt, pepper, garlic salt or powder, Accent

    Add a little oil to a skillet
    At this point, you can add one or 2 cans tomato sauce and add seasoning and dip tortillas in sauce only long enough to soften for rolling.
    Add cheese & roll
    May add more cheese on top and also sauce from pan, OR Instead of tomato sauce, use chicken broth or water and flour (to thicken to desired consistency)
    Add seasoning, dip tortilla in sauce to soften
    Add cheese and roll ~~~~~~~~ Say you wanted 4 enchiladas--fix all 4 on your plate and cover with grated cheese and dip with spoon the sauce mix over your enchiladas and pop in the microwave for 30 to 40 seconds to melt cheese. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
