MEXICAN PASTA BAKE


The corkscrew noodles make this a fun different casserole

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 8 oz. corkscrew noodles, cooked
  • 1 c shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. sour cream

    In a skillet, brown ground beef, drain.
    Stir in taco seasoning, tomato sauce, green pepper and spices.
    Bring to a boil; remove from heat.
    Meanwhile , combine cooked pasta, 1/2 c. cheddar cheese and sour cream.
    Spoon into the bottom of a greased 2 qt. baking dish.
      Top with meat mixture and remaining cheese.
    Bake, uncovered at 350º for 30 min.
    Makes about 4 to 6 servings.
