OK LADIES HERE IS MY RECIPE

MAKES 1 8X8 SQUARE CAKE

  • 1 1/2 SIFTED FLOUR
  • 1 CUP SUGAR
  • 3 TABLS. COCOA
  • 3/4 TEAS. BAKING POWDER
  • 3/4 TEAS. BAKING SODA
  • 1/2 TEAS. SALT
  • 1 CUP WATER
  • 1/4 CUP PLUS 1 TABLS. OIL
  • 1 TABLS. VINEGAR
  • 1 TEAS. VANILLA
    PREHEAT OVEN TO 350º
    GREASE AND FLOUR 8X8 CAKE PAN.
    SIFT FLOUR,SUGAR,COCOA,BAKING POWDER, BAKING.SODA, AND SALT ALL TOGETHER.
    MAKE WELL IN CENTER AND ADD WATER,OIL,VINGAR, AND VANILLA.
    BEAT UNTIL SMOOTH.
    POUR INTO PAN AND BAKE 350º FOR 30 MINUTES
    FROSTING
    1/2 CUP COCOA
    1 CAN 14OZ EAGLE BRAND MILK
    2 TABLS. BUTTER
    COMBINE COCOA,SWEETENED MILK AND BUTTER IN TOP OF DOUBLE BOILER AND COOK UNTIL THICK.
    SPREAD WARM MIXTURE ON COOL CAKE.
