FLUFFY FRENCH TOAST

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 eggs , beaten
  • 10 slices french bread or plain, or wheat
    Orange Syrup:
  • 1 c. orange juice (I use frozen country style )
  • 1 c. sugar
    For Orange surup :In a small saucepan, mix orange juice and sugar.
    Boil for 5 min.until thickened, and set aside. In a separate bowl, sift flour with baking powder and salt.
    Stir in eggs and milk.
    Beat well.
    Cut bread in 3rds.
    Dip in batter and fry in a little butter.
    Serve with orange syrup.
