HEARTY BEEF 'N CHEESE PIE I hope you like this main dish.
Hearty Beef 'N Cheese Pie

  • 1 and 1/4 lbs. ground beef                        
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion                                
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper                        
        8 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 8 oz. can cut green beans                            
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt                                
  • 1/2 tsp. salt                                        
  • one egg slightly beaten                              
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese                                
  • one can (8 oz.) Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
    In a large frying pan brown ground beef,onion and green pepper.
    Drain.
    Stir in tomato sauce,beans,garlic salt and salt.
    Simmer while preparing crust.
    Separate crescents into 8 triangles.
    Place the triangles in ungreased 9-inch pie pan.
    Press over bottom and up the sides to form crust.
    Combine egg and one cup of the cheese;spread over this crust.
    Add the beef mixture,sprinkle with remaining cheese and a little paprika.
    Bake 20-25 minutes.
