MUSHROOM STEAKS

  • 1 round steak
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can mushroom (sliced)
  • salt and pepper
    Cut round steak in 4 to 6 pieces.
    Dip pieces in flour and pan fry to brown each side.
    In roasting pan mix soup with 2 cans of water, onion, salt and pepper.
    Place steaks in roasting pan and put the mushrooms on top.
    Bake for 1-1/2 to 2 hours at 375.
    When done thicken the mushroom sauce with flour to make gravy.
    This goes good with mashed potatoes, vegetable, a salad, and dinner rolls.
