Hey Girls...I've been making this dish forever.
It is supposed to be a dish that was served on some famous old railroad car.
And my family has always loved it.
Crumble and cook ground beef in frying pan and drain
Add chopped onions and salt and pepper.
Add tomato sauce and drained whole kernel corn.
Cook a little longer.
Put into a casserole dish.
Mix the Jiffy cornbread mix according to directions on box....
spread across the top of the meat mixture.
Bake according to directions for cornbread.
The cornbread will rise to the top and form a lovely crust that has a faintly sweet taste.
SOOO GOOD!!
