Richard Anderson

Richard Norman Anderson was born August 8, 1926, in Long Branch, New Jersey. This timeless actor's career has spanned over fifty years in movies and television. Anderson had the ability to convincingly play the most genuinely likeable character, or the smoothest of criminals. Some of his movie roles include, "Twelve O'Clock High", "Forbidden Planet", "The Long Hot Summer", "The Wackiest Ship In The Army", "Tora, Tora, Tora", "Seven Days In May", and "Gettysburg". Among his long list of television work are appearances on "Zane Grey Theater", "Zorro", "Perry Mason", "Wagon Train", "The Big Valley", "The F.B.I.", "Simon & Simon", and "Kung Fu: The Legend Continues". He is well remembered for his role as Oscar Goldman, the boss in the Office of Scientific Information on both "The Six-Million Dollar Man", and "The Bionic Woman". Anderson was one of the most frequent visitors on "The Rifleman", making six appearances in various roles between 1959-63. He continues acting in the 1990s.
