COUNTRY    BREEZE

Mountain air in the sky
Birds always flying by
Checking out the scene below
Beneath the white patches of snow

White tailed deer and country mouse
Walk slowly toward a heated house
Snow melting off the tiled roof
Hitting the horse with the silent hoof.

WINTERY    NIGHT

Snowflakes falling on the windowsill
Looking to see the nearest hill
All is silent, all is still
On the T.V. there is a Mockingbird to Kill

Waiting for my significant other
Under the warmth of our bed cover
There goes the phone, it is only my brother
Wanting to know the whereabouts of my lover

I hear him closing the garage door
Wet and dirty shoes on the kitchen floor
He stands there looking like he was in a war
Outside the rain begins to pour.

SEASHELLS    AND    WET    SAND

Hear the waves beating on the shore
This beachcomber has been here before
Picking up seashells and treasures galore
Must hurry home its starting to pour

Feet running through the wet sand
Looking for the car the key in his hand
Turn on the radio listen to a country band
Head down the road found some dry land.

THE    SALMON

Crystal blue water flowing fast
Down to the oceans edge
Salmon struggling to get back home
Before falling over the ledge

Yearning to get home to feed and spawn
That is the salmons plight
They must get there before the dawn
So they swim througout the night.
