Inspiration Things that inspire me to write fanfic In the beginning it was the series. After watching the horror of Though Lover's Be Lost, I was compelled to sit and write my own happy ending and so Oblivion was created. I put my all into that story not even considering that I would write others. In fact I originally sent Oblivion to Gwen Lord for her to produce, but she advised me that it was so brilliant I should produce it myself. And amazingly (to me) she was right I found, as the letters of appreciation for this epic poured in, bringing about the yearning within me to continue the story and form it into a gigantic trilogy of over 400 pages. After completing Oblivion 3 I began to search the Shakespeares Sonnets, and along with Sonnet 29, that we all know and love so well, I began to explore other poets, and was touched by various lines that inspired me to write new stories. Among them 'Where Moonbeams Kiss the Sea' - (Loves Philospy - Percy Byshe Shelley) 'The Winds of Dawn that Blow' 'While the Fountains Echo' all of which are part of the Moonbeams triology. From poetry I found songs would inspire me. Lyrics contained in songs by The Backstreet Boys, Boyzone and Michael Bolton fired my enthusiasm not only for new Fic but also for new ideas and plots within the stories themselves. Then I noticed that certain phrases had me rushing for the keyboard as an idea began to brew. Phrases like Dog Gone...Curiosity Killed The Cat and Heaven Scent. These formed the basis for short stories, many of which I donated to various B&B fan clubs or for Convention ConZines. Recently I begun to bring these out under the Unleash the Beast series, currently up to number 3. I receive a great deal of letters from people asking where I get my ideas from, and it is for that reason I have decided to create this page. Currently it is Michael Bolton (I'm buying all his CD's) who inspires me and I have a whole list of fanfic piecing together in my mind thanks to his music and lyrics. Sometimes I have recieved ideas from fans who unable to put a story together for lack of time, sent me the idea and let me build from it. These include stories such as Secret Garden, The Magic Lamp Trilogy and Myhr Der. All in all I hope you will enjoy this page and where inspiration was gained through a song I hope to provide the music along with the lyrics for your extra enjoyment.
