Canada's first Streamlined Locomotive went into service in 1936. It ran between Montreal, Toronto and Sarnia, along the route of the International Limited.
I was privileged to have worked some running repairs to this and other Streamlined Steam Locomotives on a few occasions at the London Ontario Roundhouse,in the 1950's.These Beautiful Locomotives, would not normally layover in our Roundhouse for routine inspections and repairs, but we did do minor emergency repairs.
Special thanks to Alan(Fred)Pipes Of Great Britain for Helping me attain this Streamliner and some of the of the information above.
