Pineapple Raspberry Sorbet
Ingredients
6 oz raspberries
1 15 1/4 oz can crushed pineapple
1 1/2 cup simple syrup
1 cup pineapple juice
3 tbsp lemon juice
Directions
Place all ingredients except the lemon juice in a heavy pan and bring to a boil.
Remove from heat and let cool a little then puree.
Strain to remove the raspberry seeds.
Stir in the lemon juice
Chill mixture for at least 1 1/2 hrs.
Pour into ice cream freezer and process as per machine instructions.
