The Bus Ministry

A ministry for the children!

Another area that Bro. James has a strong burden for, is the Bus Ministry.

When I began attending Church services, I was a bus kid. It was at the First Assembly of God Church in Lake Elsinore, CA. where I had learned of the Bus Ministry, and it's mission. At the age of 12, my family had moved to Perris, CA. There, I had attended Higher Ground Baptist Church, and again I was a bus kid. I was saved shortly thereafter, and two years later was asked by the Pastor to run the program in "the hardest ministry of the Church," he said. In 1997, my Pastor had resigned the pastorate of Higher Ground Baptist Church. In November, 1997, I attended Bible Baptist Church, Moreno Valley, CA., and was named the Bus Captain of the Bus Ministry that I had taken from Higher Ground, and brought to Bible Baptist. I was about 14-years-old when I accepted the position as the program leader of the Bus Ministry at Higher Ground. I was about 17-years-old, when I was named Bus Captain at Bible Baptist Church. The Bus Ministry has been my joy since I had taken on my first position.

This is a picture of the bus kids of the King James Bible Club, from route B-9, in Cedar Lake, IN. The First Baptist Church, Hammond, IN. is in the background. This is my bus route while at Hyles~Anderson College.

"I believe that every Church ought to have a bus ministry. There are two reasons for this: 1.)To influence those who you would not otherwise be able to influence; 2.)To win more people to Christ."

We ought to have the desire to win as many people as we possibly can to Christ, without contradicting, or disobeying His Word!

Picture soon to be displayed!

Bro. James will do anything to see a soul saved, even swallow a gold fish, as he is doing for the B-9 Bible Club bus route.

These are a few of the bus kids of the B-9 Bible Club bus route. They were those who had attended "night Church", nearly every week!
