BIG BOY TOYS

Here I am at the fort,
under the Golden Gate bridge at San Francisco. I would like to take this
one home, but barb would probably not let me bring it in the house, and
the RV is already in the garage. ...I like cannon. I build little cannons
that fire .32 cal balls with a firecracker for propellant. I built a black
powder cannon, 1lb ball, for July 4th.
I am building a plastic cannon (SPUD GUN) that
will be mounted on bicycle wheels and use hairspray for propellant. My
sons and grandsons also like cannon. My Wife does not like cannon. ???
Must be a genetic thing?
I also like fireworks. Here
in Oregon fireworks are limited to things that stay on the ground and don't
go bang. BUMMER DUDE. Of course, Washington is just across the bridge with
great fireworks and the Indian Reservations. WOW. My son took me to the
Fort Vancouver Fireworks (largest west of Mississippi) in his boat. We
anchored out in the river, turned on the stereo and watched the Star Spangled
Banner through the rocket's red glare, and the 1812 Overture the way it
was written. Awsome.
I have a small collection of militaria from WWII,
Civil
Defense and KOREA.
My Grandson Jake loves Rockets
