Today has been a very reflective day for me.
With so much coming across the news (I work at an NBC affiliate as master control operator), its really hard to focus on my task at hand, to help our world children.  Some days its just hard to have hope, seeing how unfocused our world is in resolving huge problems we are facing.

It just seems like a horde of ants  not really knowing what’s going to happen next, just intent on self preservation for the moment.  We as intelligent creatures should be beyond that, but, sadly too many are not.

When I consider that humankind  has the ability and resources 
to solve many of the problems facing us, yet, we do not, because of fear, greed, and, selfishness.  There is so much power and influence around us that is focused only on self serving agendas.  It really gets overwhelming, because I want so much for our children to survive, I hunger for the power to affect change.  I get angry when I see so much money wasted on foolish and useless pursuits.

That is why I started this fund, to get people to work together  to make things happen.  I know I must be patient and persist in my work, and, keep asking and prodding and announcing to get people to work with me and get the compassion for the work , to feel the urgency to make a better world  for all our children.  I am trying to plant a seed and grow fruitful harvests, but, the question is, how fertile is the ground?  Will it grow to be bountiful,
will it spread its seeds to the rest of the field?

It is better to sacrifice now than to lose all we have  for our future generations, to close the door to hope, to waste away our souls on endless pursuit  of material happiness, which is a lonely empty existence.  I am passionate about this cause, I cry for our children, our future, our failure to see the writing on the wall.

Wake up World citizens, human family, its time to start serious work.  Please stop and listen, you will hear the call, like the whispering pines and flowing streams.
