Have you ever sat down and told yourself, 'I love you,' putting some feeling into it as though you meant it? Try it now. Think, just where would you be without your mind and body? Start feeling some love for them. Feel that love warm your body as it literally radiates through you. Isn't it wonderful? You are really important. Tell this to your mind and body. Tell it again and again. Yes, tell all parts of your body and your conscious and subconscious mind also, 'I love you, I appreciate you. Together we can do wonders. We really need one another.' If the thought of another person pops into your mind, send a little love his or her way, but return to yourself with, 'I love you, you are wonderful. You are my most important asset. Together we can do wonders.' Give both your mind and body credit - actually begin saying 'we'. You will be able to work more efficiently because mind and body will be working together. Your work with others will appear different, and there will be a difference in those with whom you work. Changes will occur. You will feel a new livingness, and a lovelier you will emerge. Think of your accomplishments this way: 'We really did a good job that time, and if we did it once we can do it again. Together we are a success.' Sit for a few minutes every day or several times a day and literally love yourself. Lull yourself to sleep with the idea and wake up renewed and refreshed. Self-consciousness will disappear as your awareness changes. You will recognise that it really is not you but God who does the work through you. Your gratitude will grow as you let God work through you. You will come into a new wholeness and as you are lifted up, others will be lifted up also. Lovingly say and gently feel this prayer of thankfulness as you let it go deeper and deeper: Thank you God, you are the light that shines through me and surrounds me. Thank you God, you are the love that radiates through me and enfolds me. Thank you God, you are the power that works through me forgood and protects me. Thank you God, you are the presence that stands in me, around me and watches over me. Eileen Caddy
