How many times have you heard or even muttered to yourself, 'What a mess the world is in these days, what chaos and confusion.' You have felt that there is nothing much you could do about it. It seems hopeless and out of your control so you have hidden yourself away in your shell, like a snail, and left the world to keep on getting worse and worse. Where is your sense of responsibility towards the state of the planetv Do you not realise that what you do, how you live and how you think can help or hinder things? It takes every tiny grain of sand to make up the seashore. It takes every tiny drop of water to make up the ocean. What you do with your thinking helps to make or mar the world - have you ever thought of that? The more souls who are thinking loving, positive and constructive thoughts the better. You are all very much part of this wonderful world you live in. You are each a tiny part of that vast wholeness and you have your specific part to play. The quicker you realise this, the quicker will the state of the world change. Cease being drawn into the whirlpool of universal thought-forms of chaos and confusion, destruction and devastation. Start right now concentrating on the wonder and beauty of the world around you. Give thanks for everything. Bless all those with whom you come into contact. Refuse to see the worst in people, in things, in conditions, and seek always for the very best. Concentrate on the best and see the wonderful changes which will take place in the world all around you. You can do this and you can start doing it today. In fact you can start doing it now. This is not being like an ostrich, hiding your head in the sand and refusing to face the realities of the world. It is simply looking for and concentrating on the very best in everything and everyone. You are a tiny world within yourself. When there is peace, harmony, love and understanding right there, deep within your inner world, it will reflect in the outer conditions all around you. Start putting your own house in order. Start readjusting your thinking and living. Stop pointing your finger at someone else and spotlighting their faults and failings. You have more than enough to do to right yourself. When you can do that, you are beginning to help the whole vast situation. Why not start right now to love the world you are in, enjoying it to the full and absorbing the beauties and wonders of it. It is so full of energies and goodness. It is a wonderful, wonderful world and you are greatly blessed and privileged to be living in it. It is up to you to bring Heaven down on Earth. What are you doing about it? Stop looking to other people to do it and start doing something about it yourself. Eileen Caddy
