Another hot, late spring show. Jack and I had been planning on this show for weeks. Luckily we got our tickets early because it sold out well in advance. We went to the Wawa and then headed over to the doors. After we got in we must have waited for about 45 mins or so until U.S. Maple came on stage. They were not very good. Let's just say that they were postively horrible. The balcony was booing them by the second song and everyone else was doing it by mid-set. And you say indie rock crowds don't get crazy...
Pavement was out a short time later and wowed and amazed everyone, including myself. They kicked into high gear with songs mostly from "Terror Twilight". "The Hexx", "Cream Of Gold", and "Major Leagues" were all winners, plus the surprise "Stereo". I left around 11 to catch the train, but from what I hear, the rest of the set was killer, too. They even pulled out a Creedence cover.
