Gaillardia x grandiflora (gay-Lar-dee-ah)Also know as Blanket Flower likes zones 3-9. It grows 4-6ft.tall and loves full sun.Leave the seeds on top of the soil without cover. The temperature should be 18-22C(64-72F).The babies should appear in 2-3 weeks.
This plant is gentiana asclepiadea(gent-SHEE-anna)also know as Willow Gentian. The seeds are a bit harder to start but well worth the effort and being one of my favorites I had to include it :-).It grows about 18 inches tall and likes partial shade and rich moist acid soil. The seeds need to be planted slightly covered with soil then put in the fridge or outdoors for 4 to 6 weeks.Then you warm them to a temperature of 18-25C(64-77F). After the warmth they should come up in between 14-28 days.
The picture is Geranium himalayense (jer-AIN-ee-um). It's also called Hardy Geranium or Cranesbill..This one is found in zones 4-9. It grows about 15 inches tall and likes full sun.To start it's seeds you cover then lightly with soil and keep at a temperature between 15-22C(59-74F) and they take from14-42 days to sprout.
Here we have Geum.Mrs.Bradshaw (Jee-um)It's found in zones 4-8,gets about a ft.tall and likes sun to partial shade.Plant in pots and set out in the cold or in the fridge for4 weeks. You then set it at a temperature of between18-25C(64-77F)and they should appear within 21-28 days after the warmth.
Here is Gypsophila reptens (jip-so-FIL-ah)Also called Baby's Breath It lives in zones 4-8,grows to about 1 ft.tall and just loves the sun. Cover the seeds lightly with soil and set in a temperature of between 18-22C(64-72F).It take 1 to 3 weeks to sprout.
