Heuchera sanquinea (HEW-kerr-uh) is a full sun to partial shade plant found in zones 3-8.It is also called Coral Bells. It grows about 18 inches tall.The seeds are lightly covered with soil and kept at a temperature of betwen 13-18C(55-64F) and should appear in 8-15 days.
Hibiscus moscheutos (hi-BIS-cus) also known as Rose Mallow is found in zones 5-9. Not to be confused with the tropical hibiscus,This one is hardy to those zones I mentioned. It grows 4-6ft. tall and has dinner plate sized flowers.It will grow in partial shade to full sun. To start the seeds it is best to soak them for 24 hours in warm water.Then plant them 3 times their depth Try to keep the temperature between 20-25C (68-77F).They should appear anywhere from 14-35 days.
This Hosta is undulata (HAHS-tuh).It is also called Plantain lily. It likes zones 3-8.grows about 15 inches tall and will take a partial to all shade. The seeds need a 6 week cold period either outdoors or in the fridge. Cover the seeds lightly with soil and set to cool.After 6 weeks bring them to a temperature of between 18-22C(64-72F).They should start appearing from 2 to 3 weeks.
Iberis sempervirens (EYE-burr-iss) also known as Candytuff likes zones 3-9. It's a tiny 8 inch plant that loves full sun.After you sow the seeds try to keep at a temperature of between 13-18C(55-64F).They should appear in 2-3 weeks.
