All I want for Solstice Sometimes being a pagan kid can be hard. Yule is one of those times for me.
Xians have xmas pageants, caroling, and Santa. Hebrews have Channukah with menorahs and presents. Kwanza and Ramadan are this time of year too.It took me a long time to see that a lot of the stuff Xians and others have comes from pagan stuff in the past. I think the best thing I learned was that Santa used to be the Winter King!
My parents make it so that our Yule lasts for 3 or 4 days. I get to open my presents from our pagan friends on Yule and then one present each night until I get to open my presents from our Xian friends and relatives on Xmas.
